The Future of Automated Science Symposium is the inaugural annual event focused on automated science. As a new and emerging field, bringing together AI, infrastructure at scale, and high-throughput experimentation, Automated Science can offer new paradigms for scientific investigation.

Brian completed his PhD in Chemical Biology at The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) working on DNA nanotechnology under committee mentorship of Feynman award-winning chemists M. Reza Ghadiri and Nadrian Seeman. Brian is a Hollerith and Wolfram Innovator award-winner who has received over four hundred combined citations for published articles in the Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS) and Chemical Physics.

Gomes, PhD

Carnegie Mellon University
Gabe earned his PhD from Florida State where he was an IBM Scholar and studied under Alan Aspuru-Guzick in U Toronro's MatterLab where he completed his post-doctoral fellowship focusing on Artificial Intelligence in Chemistry and Catalysis. Gabe is a thought leader in Automated Science and is an integral leader in the CMU Cloud Lab.
